Rice - Shell Workshop Agenda

Objectives: 

 
a.      Explore overlapping technology challenges and expertise between Shell and Rice.   
b.      Understand new ways to collaborate given co-location. 
c.       Establish a relationship that is less transactional and more about the exchange of ideas, students and people.

ii)             David Parker & Christian Davies - Current State of Microbial Routes to HC's 
iii)             Joe Powell - Sustainability Aspects of Energy Industry

 

b.       Rice – three talks, 15 minutes each.

Speed Matching, facilitated by Henk Mooiweer

 

Rice and Shell people will spend time getting to know one another using a speed matching approach that Shell uses to spur innovation and collaboration.  Rice and Shell people will rotate among different groups so as to maximize the possibility for good interactions.
